We were sent a lovely bottle of Rioja Reserva wine, it is priced at a very reasonable £5.99 a bottle. I'm not a huge alcohol fan any more (hangover and children never mix well), but I do like the occasional glass with a meal, so I decided that I would try this and see what it was like. It tasted lovely and went great with my roast dinner that I cooked up for our Sunday dinner last weekend.
We were also sent some gorgeous truffles and a lovely chocolate reindeer to try. Again these are really reasonably priced and would make a lovely present for any chocolate fan young our old. Neither lasted long in our house. The truffles are priced at £1.99 a box and the reindeer is priced at 99p.
All the products that we were sent are available to buy in Aldi stores whilst stocks last. They are very reasonably priced and lets face it if we can cut costs but not compromise on quality then why shouldn't we enjoy ourselves. After all Christmas is a time for eating well and being merry.
I would recommend all these items to anyone who loves their Christmas foods. They would make a lovely gift idea as you could make them into a hamper and it wouldn't cost too much either, a lovely basket, a ribbon and all these yummy foods how could you possibly go wrong? We give Aldi and these foods a scrumptious rating of 5/5.
