According to the Islamic rituals meat must be slaughtered by performing some basic rites as narrated by various scholars with some basic rules to keep in mind to make it fit for the Muslim community. While slaughtering if these rituals are not followed, then, according to the Muslim community, these meat products are considered to be as 'Haram'. Haram meat products are unhealthy and unfit for consumption as it invites many diseases such as mad cow diseases, cancer and many more. Let's discuss some of the practices that make meat halal for healthier living:-

1.Electric shock slaughtering: some slaughtering houses use electric shock to kill animals, that attacks the central nervous system due to which some blood does not leave the body and therefore considered as Haram as per Islam rituals. If the animal is slaughtered as per Islamic guidelines, it does not affect the central nervous system and all the blood completely drains off from the body.

4.Hormone free animals: Many slaughterhouses use hormones for better productivity of meat in shorter time. This type of meat is quarantined as it decreases fertility and brings other health related issues among the person consuming it. Therefore, animals that are fed on organic food are eligible for consumption as per Islamic scholars.
