Design A Lego Vehicle for the new Lego Film

I was sent an email last week with details about a competition for my boys to take part in. Callum already has his thinking cap on and is really starting to think about what he wants to do to enter the competition. However I thought I would be nice and share it with my readers as I know many of you have children of a similar age to my own and who would probably also like to enter this competition as it is definitely once in a lifetime thing. So what is this competition I hear you ask.... Well look at the information below and how you can enter.

In 2014 there will be a new film out. The film, the first-ever full length theatrical LEGO movie, follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.  He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. 

Warner Brothers and LEGO are giving one child aged between 5 and 13 years old the chance to create a vehicle entirely from LEGO which will star in the film!

All you and your kids have to do is build a great vehicle – it can be anything from a train to a plane, to a car or space ship, boat…whatever takes your fancy – and then take a photo and upload it to the website www.lego-themovie.co.uk.   Easy Peasy :)

Entries need to be in by 31^st December 2012 and then, a winner will be picked
