As the weather has been so lovely this last week, we have been sorting our garden out and have finally got around to all those things that "can wait a bit longer" or "be put off until tomorrow". Whilst we have been doing these we have been trying out a pressure washer from Karcher. We were sent a K2 Compact Home and Car pressure washer to review.
The K2 Compact Home & Car pressure washer is ideal for all cleaning tasks and includes a Home & Car Kit which includes a patio cleaner, wash brush, foam nozzle and two lots of detergents - one for cleaning your patio and the other for cleaning your car .Included with the K2 is a trigger gun, 4m high pressure hose, one way lance, detergent suction facility and a dirt blaster lance which provides up to 50% greater cleaning power than a standard high pressure lance. A pressure switch control switches the motor on and off when the ergonomically-designed trigger gun is pressed and released, whilst an impact-resistant, recyclable plastic casing effectively prevents dirt particles from damaging the motor and pump.
The K2 is easy to transport and lightweight to carry. Which is a good thing as no one wants to be carrying a heavy washer around the garden. It is ideal for all cleaning tasks around the garden especially those jobs that require a bit of elbow grease too. One example would be using it to clean your patio. AS you can see from the picture below it has made a huge difference to our patio. I knew it needed cleaning but I didn't actually realise how dirty it was. Once we had used the Karcher on it you could see the difference straight away and it looked like it had just been laid. It took Matthew about 10 minutes if that to clean ours and it has never looked so good. He didn't even break a sweat whilst doing it. He used the patio cleaner attachment and patio cleaning detergent.
The K2 is a great tool for cleaning a car, again this was a job I left Matthew to do and he said that the washer was really good and even managed to get rid of all the dead flies from both the windscreen and number plate of our car (a long journey to the coast on a sunny day will amount in a lot of dead bugs)
All Karcher K2 pressure washers can also be used from a gravity fed harvested water source such as a water butt tap, so is also environmentally friendly and a great product for those who are conscious about the impact they have on the environment and want to reuse their rainwater.
You can purchase the K2 washer both online and instore from £99.99 but this will depend on where you purchase it from. There are other pressure washers to purchase from Karcher but I think the K2 is definitely one to consider if you are short of storage space in your shed or garage but want a tool that is handy for the jobs that you put off and one that will actually get the job done and give you results to be proud of.
