Pokemon Trainer Kit & Toys

Pokemon is something I remember from when my little brother was younger (he's now 15 and there's a 14 year age gap between us) so I was surprised to see that it is still very popular all these years later. My boys are just at the right age where they are starting to get interested in them too. So when we were sent a selection of Pokemon toys to review they couldn't wait to get their hands on them

We were sent a Pokedex Trainer Kit, a Catch 'n' Carry Poke Ball and two Pokemon figures.

The Trainer Kit is a role play toy and must have for any Pokemon fan who wants to be just like Ash from the TV programme or computer games. The kit contains a Pikachu figure, a Pokedex, 15 Pokedex ID Tags, a Poke Ball, and glove. It is priced at £19.99.

The Poke Ball attaches to a belt clip this means that you can take your Pokemon figure with you, we found that the Poke Ball pops opens easily with the push of a button and holds a 2” Pokemon figure. The Pokedex is a pretty cool "gadget" that stores you Pokemon ID Tags and even has a special screen that shows a slightly animated scene when an ID tag is put in the front of the Pokedex. Each ID tag shows information about a Pokemon. This is very important to any trainer.

The second toy we looked at was the Catch "n" Carry Poke Ball. Each pack contains a colorful, detailed 2” PVC figure, Poke Ball with belt clip, and Pokedex ID Tag. This toy can be played with along side the Trainer kit as they have exactly the same type of ID Tag so you can store this tag along with your others. It is priced at £8.99

Tomy have a large range of Pokemon figure toys available too. We were sent two of these. Again like the others they come with an ID Tag so can be played with the Trainer Kit too. The figures are very detailed and great for role playing. The figures we were sent are 7". These figures featured in the Pokemon Black and White video games.

All of the above and many other Pokemon toys can be purchased from online from Tomy.

All the toys we have been sent are of good quality and feel strong in your hand, there is nothing worse than buying a toy that looks great but once you take it from the packaging falls to pieces. My boys love playing and are sometimes heavy handed with their toys so this is always something I consider when buying things for them.

*We were sent these products for the purpose of this review - All thoughts and opinions are my own*
