Battroborg 3 in 1 Battle Arena Review and Competition

This Christmas I have found it really hard to find toys to buy for Callum and I am not the only one who has found it difficult as all our friends and family have asked what they should get him or what things he would like. This has proved to be somewhat of a problem. I think there is too much emphasis on buying children games consoles, games or other gadgets rather than toys for actually playing. Although he is only 8 (and very much still a young child in my eyes) he would much rather have these types of gifts as thats what all his friends have or have said that they are getting and when asked he couldn't think of any toys that he would like. If like me you have a really difficult child to buy for then maybe Tomy have just the answer. They have recently launched a new range of toys called Battroborg. They are like no other toy on the market and even I think that they would appeal to the boys out there that think there are no toys that they want or would like.

We were sent a Battroborg 3-in-1 Battle Arena. Inside the box you will find everything you need for a battle, there are:
  •     2 Robots
  •     2 Nunchaku Motion Controllers
  •     Arena with ropes
  •     4 Training Drones
  •     2 Sticker Sheets
  •     2 Face Sheets
  •     Instruction Sheet

Battroborgs are the newest innovation in robot gaming technology. Put basically they are motion controlled battling robots that lets players control the action in the ring. Players use the controllers and when you move your hand your robot will mimic this - which I think is pretty awesome.

The Battroborg 3-in-1 Battle Arena offers multiple ways to play and each Battroborg can battle in three different competitive game modes. Combat mode allows for head-to-head battle against an opponent. Battle Boot Camp allows players to master the art of combat by taking on the training drones. Other game play options include Autodrone mode where players can battle against a self-activated Battroborg robot or Tag mode where a self-propelled Battroborg robot chases other robots. Battroborg’s advanced radio control technology allows players to host a Battle Royal where up to 20 robots can battle at one time.

The Battroborgs require batteries to work. These aren't included so make sure you do have some to hand. Each controller takes 4 AA batteries. You then need to plug your robot into the controller to charge it up. A 20 minute charge will allow for up to 20 minutes of play.

The 3 in 1 arena is priced at £69.99. You can buy this from Tomy. Although it seems like a lot of money, the Battroborg's provide lots of battling fun and can be played with independently or with multi-players. Single figure packs are also available to buy for £29.99.

Tomy have offered one of our lucky readers the chance to win a 3 in 1 arena. If you would like the chance to win this amazing prize fill out the Rafflecopter form below. A winner will be chosen at random after the closing date.
