Christmas is probably the most expensive time of year for most families, but it doesn't have to be. As much as I love handing out gifts and receiving them, we as a family can't afford to spend a lot as we simply don't have the money to be able to. I know this isn't the most important thing but I always feel guilty that I can't spend a lot on everyone. Having said this we never leave anyone out and we always buy everyone something even if it is just a token gift.
