Top Trumps... A Game For Everyone

Top Trumps is a game my brother and I used to play when we were small. It was a game I used to lose at every time we played.

Recently Callum and Nathan were sent some of the new Top Trumps to play. They were sent some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and some Planes cards. Both Planes and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are firm favourites of the boys this year and they have already asked for toys from both for Christmas.

The cards are illustrated both on the front and back. The front of the card shows the character and its facts.

If you have never played Top Trumps before then you might wonder what its all about. The aim of the game is to be the person with all the cards. Players take it in turns choosing a category and asking other players what their figure is for one of the categories on the card. The person with the highest score takes those cards. Nathan has never played the game before but he picked up the concept really easy and really liked playing against Callum. He was particularly impressed when his cards beat Callums too.
