The first toy we were asked to review is the Jungle Magic Sounds Aquadoodle.
In the box you will find the Aquadoodle mat and the pen.
The Aquadoodle is a great toy and a very clever one at that. Its clever because your child can create pieces of art over and over again but without any mess. I love my boys to draw pictures and I love to put them all over my kitchen cupboards and walls but I hate all the mess of paints / pens and even crayons have known to leave my walls looking like a masterpiece so I'm a bit of a mean mummy when it comes to being crafty where mess is concerned - I leave all the messy bits for their teachers to create with them.
The Aquadoodle is easy to use as all you need to do is fill the special pen with water. What makes the Jungle Magic Sounds Aquadooodle different from other Aquadoodle products is that the pen also makes sounds and the mat has special spots that activate jungle sounds too. If you press on one of the sound spots this activates a jungle sound! There is a snake sound, jungle drums, a tiger sound and a monkey sound. The pen requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) to make the sounds work. There is also an on/off button so you can preserve the battery life or if your little one is constantly pressing the buttons you can turn it off.
James thought it was funny when his picture started to fade, as this meant he could start all over again! The Jungle Magic Sounds Aquadoodle folds up easily for storage and for taking to other places so makes an ideal toy for holidays too.
The Aquadoodle is aimed at children aged 18 months +. It is priced around £24.99 and can be bought from all good toy stockists both instore and online. Other Aquadoodle products and mats are available to purchase too. We were also sent these extra pens along with our mat. These are a great buy as they will extend the life of any Aquadoodle set and also enable other siblings to draw at the same time so there is no arguing over pens.
*We were sent the Tomy Aquadoodle for the purpose of this review*
